World Boxing Council President, Mauricio Sulaiman, has been unanimously re-elected at the WBC’s 54th annual convention in Hollywood, Florida.
Mauricio’s re-election was proposed by WBC Vice-President, Rex Walker, and passed unanimously.
This was followed by Mauricio proposing the re-election of the current WBC board of governors, which was also passed.
Mauricio thanked a number of friends and family, including his late father and WBC Lifetime President, Don Jose.
“I take this appointment as President of the WBC as a great pride and I vow I will do my absolute best with the support of Christiane, our Kids, the WBC Board of Governors as well as all of the promoters, managers and fighters, Ring Officials and members of the Media. I thank you once again for the trust you have put in Me.”
