Kell Brook’s Top Five Opponents

Kell Brook

Errol Spence Jr

Bramall Lane, Sheffield – 27 May 2017

Making the fourth, and indeed most dangerous, defence of his IBF welterweight crown, Kell was boxing more or less on even terms with Spence for the majority of the contest and was staying within touching distance on the cards. The vibrant youth and heavy hands of the Texan visitor caught up with Brook in the 10th, and he took a knee. Brook then quit in round 11 citing damage to his eyes, later confirmed as a fractured eye socket.
