Nonito Donaire (36-3, 23 KOs) is to defend his WBO super bantamweight title against Hungarian Olympian, Zsolt Bedak (25-1, 8 KOs), on the 29th April in Quezon City, Philippines.

Donaire who was stopped in 2014 by featherweight, Nicholas Walters, has since won three in a row and was able to claim the vacant WBO title in his last bout against Cesar Juarez in Puerto Rico.

Donaire was able to win the vacant WBO belt via unanimous decision, sending Juarez to the canvas twice in the fourth round and battling through what was an action packed affair.

Bedak, who competed in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, has a somewhat padded record, losing his biggest fight to date, against Wilfredo Vazquez Jr for the WBO super bantamweight title via stoppage.
