IBF super middleweight champion, James DeGale, is set to defend his title against former champion, Lucian Bute, on November 28th in Quebec, Canada.
The bout will see Bute (32-2, 25 KOs) take home field advantage, something which he will look to capitalise on as he attempts to climb back to the top of the super middleweight division.
Bute last fought in August when he beat Andrea Di Luisa in a one-sided contest. Before his August bout, Bute had been out of action since his defeat to Jean Pascal in January 2014.
DeGale (21-1, 14 KOs) is entering the fight having won his last eleven contests in a row. DeGale’s last outing, in May, saw him claim a victory over Andre Dirrell, claiming the IBF crown in the process.
