Luke Campbell (12-1 10KOs) will square off against fellow Yorkshireman Gary Sykes (28-4 6KOs) as part of the Brook vs. Bizier card taking place at the Sheffield Arena on March 26th.

Campbell, who suffered the first defeat of his professional career in December is keen to get back on track and has been in Miami working under the tutelage of Jorge Rubio in preparation for his upcoming bout.

“I’ve made plenty of changes since the Mendy fight,” said Campbell. “I wanted to get straight back into action and I wasn’t interested in an eight or 10 round comeback fight, I wanted to get straight back into big fights and Gary is a fight I can really get my teeth into. Gary will have plenty of support and I’m expecting a tough fight and a great performance.”

Dewsbury-based Sykes will look to capitalise on any post-defeat jitters still lingering in Campbell and hand the Hull native his second defeat. “Sean and Mark [Sykes’ trainers] have said they see no reason why I can’t win if I am fully focused,” said Sykes. “There is no fear and I am confident.”
