Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs), spoke to Kugan Cassius of iFLTV after his emphatic, second round TKO victory over Canada’s, Kevin Bizier (25-3 17KOs), at the Sheffield Arena on Saturday evening.
Brook told Cassius, “I’m devastating when I’m 100% – you know? I can get any fighter out of there in the world.”
When asked about future opponents Brook said, “I [would] love the Danny Garcia fight, I [would] love the Bradley fight. Bradley’s all action. Them [are the] fights what we’d all love. [You get] all action fights [with] Bradley, you know? Thurman [or] Porter, again. Thurman would be good, you know? One time. These are the names I’m calling out; these are the names I want and we’re going to deliver a big fight this summer.”
Brook also admitted he would move up in weight to secure the big fight he desperately wants. “Yeah [I’d move up to] 154 [lbs], or maybe even a catchweight with them Golovkin kinda guys, at them weights.”
Although Brook is keen to unify it looks increasingly unlikely this summer. Garcia is desperate to become Floyd’s number 50, Thurman and Porter are tied up with their rescheduled contest taking place in June and Cotto is apparently not keen on Brook. It seems that Brook’s best chance of a unification bout this summer is WBO champion, Jessie Vargas. Sadly for Brook, it’s a fight which is unlikely to silence his critics.
