Muheeb Fazeldin will be back between the ropes tonight after a 16-month hiatus.
The Sheffield southpaw, who is campaigning at super-featherweight, will be hoping to shine at the BT Sport Studios in Stratford, London.
The show, which will be screened exclusively live on BT Sport, is headlined by Liam Williams.
The Welshman, who is the current WBO number one at middleweight and awaiting his shot at world champion Demetrius Andrade, will make a mandatory defence of his British title at 160 pounds against Midlander Andrew Robinson.
James Metcalf had to put his Commonwealth super-welterweight title bout against ex-English champion Jack Flatley on hold after members of Flatley’s team tested positive for COVID-19. While Anthony Cacace was forced to withdraw from his British super-featherweight defence against ex-WBO European king Lyon Woodstock after sustaining an injury.
Fazeldin, nicknamed ‘Flashy’, has a ring record of 13-0-1 with four quick finishes and has, at this stage, been matched against Luke Jones.
Jones is from Chasetown in Staffordshire and was last in action last December when he lost on points to James Beech Jr. as the pair contested the vacant Midlands Area title down at featherweight.
His career began back in April 2016 and the 26-year-old will be looking to cause an upset against Fazeldin to improve on his current ledger of 6-3-1.
Undefeated talent Mark Chamberlain will box on the card, while Nathan Gorman looks to get back on the horse against Richard Lartey following last July’s crushing defeat at the hands of British heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois. Scotland’s former world amateur champion Willy Hutchinson will be in action when he faces Jose Miguel Fandino.
